If you sew towels yourself, this life hack will help you quickly make comfortable loops.

This life hack is for when you sew towels with your own hands. First of all, this eyelet is suitable for kitchen towels. If you sew bath towels yourself, cut them from terry cloth and work the edges, folding them, the idea will do. Just take into account that with such a loop, the towel is not hung in the middle, but around the corner, and the sizes of the towels and the height of the hooks for them should be correlated.

The loop can be made from braid, kiper tape or doubled and stitched inlay.

Idea: an embroidered hole instead of a loop on a towel

You will need:

- cut towels;

- material for a loop (braid, kiper tape, slanting inlay and so on);

- scissors for fabric;

- tailor pins;

- iron and ironing board;

- sewing machine and thread.

Idea: patchwork tags for towels

Step 1

Tuck the edges of the towel twice on the wrong side and iron it.

Step 2

Determine the length of the loop you need and cut a piece of braid / bake a couple of centimeters longer.

Cut the edges of a piece of tape or tape at an angle of 45 degrees, as shown in the photo.

Step 3

Insert the future loop under the hem so that the strip stands at 45 degrees to each side. Fix the tips with pins.

Step 4

Sew a stitch, fixing the folded edge and at the same time sewing a buttonhole. Remove the pins.

Done.
