Burda Fashion Start 2017 - create your collection with Burda

If you are a talented designer, make yourself known to the world by participating in the Burda Fashion Start 2017!

Participants have to create a capsule collection of 3 images, and you only need a creative approach, enthusiasm and desire to win, we will take care of the rest! You are waiting for meetings with relevant experts, a convenient workspace, as well as all the necessary materials to translate your ideas into reality.
Burda Fashion Start 2017 is more than just a competition, it is a real reality show that in video format will show viewers the whole process of creating a collection, from concept to implementation, from sketch to catwalk!

How will the contest be held?

Each participant will create a capsule collection for the spring-summer 2018 season, fully or partially using Burda magazine patterns, and then present it at the final show, where the winner of the competition will be named.
Throughout the shooting days, designers will create in a common space under the gun of video cameras, passing additional competitive tasks, during which you can earn bonus points. Mentors - successful designers, brand owners and fashion industry experts will help win the fight for the main prize.

Mandatory conditions:
- throughout the competition you must be in the city of Moscow;
- you must be able to sew and design, if you do not know how, bring a team with a seamstress and a designer;
- if we choose you, be prepared to present the concept of your collection a week after the start;
- and most importantly, the desire to win.

What awaits the winner?

The winner of the competition will not only go to Germany to the BURDA FASHION FACTORY, the place for the production of patterns and sewing models by Burda magazine, and will take part in the largest fashion show in Eastern Europe CPM, but will also receive special gifts from our sponsors: Vivienne Sabo, Elfort, Royal Dress form, Brother, Stieglitz, La Bottega dei Tessuti. And in the fall, the winner will take part in Russian Fashion Week 2017!
In addition, you will receive annual access to the catalog of electronic patterns Burda!
