TREASURE CHEST
These beautiful drawings do not require patterns. They are made by hand. To update old furniture in this way, you only need the ability to draw (at the school curriculum level) and a steady hand.
Tip: If you are not confident in your abilities, take a marker with self-disappearing paint and make a sketch, and then repeat the lines with a marker.
WHAT YOU NEED Wooden bench or chest; highlighter marker; fine sand paper; soft cloth; if necessary - a marker with self-disappearing paint; clear nail polish; tassel.
HOW TO MAKE Sand the surface of the furniture to make the painting more even. Use a soft cloth to thoroughly wipe the entire surface of the stain.
Freehand motives with marker. Or make sketches with a marker with self-disappearing paint, and then repeat the successful drawings.
After that, add a brush with strokes, dots, line art and other small details.
After drying, coat the surface with clear varnish.
Gentle bowls
Ordinary white bowls for cereal and cereal can be turned into a work of art. With a special marker for porcelain painting, draw various fruits, berries, flowers, eyes, leaves on their surface - in short, everything your fantasy tells you. These drawings are also made by hand.Moreover, the paint for painting porcelain, while it is still wet, is easy to erase in order to slightly correct the painting. And after three days, the painting will harden so much that the bowls can be washed!
WHAT YOU NEED Marker for porcelain painting in blue and pink (Porcelain Painter, Marabu); bowls or bowls of porcelain (faience); alcohol; kitchen paper towels.
HOW TO MAKE Wipe the bowls with alcohol and wipe thoroughly with towels.
Freehand motives to draw both outside and inside. Give the paint 3 days so that it is completely dry. This paint does not need to be fired, however, bowls can be washed, including in the dishwasher.
GIFT BOXES
It is always nice to receive gifts in beautiful packaging. But it is easy to do it yourself with ordinary cardboard boxes. We suggest painting them first with spray paint, and then painting them manually with a highlighter marker.
WHAT YOU NEED Small cardboard boxes; spray paint of the desired color; highlighter marker (Marabu).
HOW TO MAKE To paint cardboard boxes with a cover with spray paint, first from the outside, then from the inside. If necessary, paint in several layers. Do not forget to line the newspapers with a work surface. Allow the paint to dry completely.
After drying the paint, apply the drawing by hand. Previously, you can practice on a sheet of paper or use again a marker with self-disappearing paint.
LACE AND NETWORK PILLOWS
First, do creativity, and then relax ... Here, first of all, we paint the fabric with a 3D marker and a brush or 3D paint (for coloringlarge surfaces). For dyeing, it is best, of course, to take a plain fabric. And after drying the paint we sew soft pillows from them!
WHAT YOU NEED Cotton fabric of turquoise color 55 cm long, 140 cm wide; cotton fabric of green color 40 cm long, 140 cm wide; marker with self-disappearing paint; 3D white marker; 3D paint; brush; suitable sewing threads; scissors; cotton wool for stuffing; needle for sewing.
HOW TO MAKE Wash and iron the fabric before dyeing.
For pillows, carve the following details:
From turquoise fabric 2 details, size 52 x 52 cm.
From green fabric 2 details 37 x 72 cm.
For the front side of the pillow, carve 1 part of each color.
Before cutting, draw motifs or motif outlines with a 3D marker. If you are unsure of yourself, use a self-fading paint marker first. Let the paint dry completely. Complete the painting with small details or small motifs. Paint over large areas with paint and a brush. The paint must be allowed to dry completely!
Place the lower parts of the pillows face to face on the painted upper sides of the pillows and grind around, the seam width is 1 cm. At the same time, leave a hole for turning out in the seam. Corner allowances cut diagonally. Turn out the pillows, form corners, iron the edges.
Insert the packing, then manually sew the hole in the seam manually with small stitches.
