One of the serious difficulties parents face today is the choice of school uniform.

Expensive and cheap school uniforms

All educational institutions have their own requirements. Schools with a strict dress code usually offer parents ready-made clothing options. Where the requirements are less stringent, parents have the right to buy the form on their own, but within the stated framework. And here difficulties arise. The "correct" school uniform should be sewn from natural materials - this is wool, cotton, viscose, linen. After all, the child has to wear it almost all day. But this quality school uniform is quite expensive and not every parent can afford it. And while the child is growing, you have to buy a uniform every year. So the costs are very decent. As an alternative, manufacturers of school uniforms offer a more democratic option - products from mixed fabrics, for example, wool with synthetics.

School uniforms have to be washed often, especially for children from primary school. They play a lot and are not used to the fact that uniform is only for school. So different spots are inevitable. In addition, the presence of synthetic fibers leads to the fact that the fabric in certain places over time begins to become very glossy.

How to care for school Thomas

To cope with all these consequences of wearing a school uniform, you need to properly care for her. Wash only at a temperature of 40 degrees, in a gentle mode, preferably with a double rinse. Use non-aggressive detergents that do not cause irritation and allergic reactions, which is very important for the child. In school uniforms, children spend the entire school day, actively move at breaks and walk on the street. So, they should be as comfortable in it as possible.

What fabrics is best to sew a school uniform

Some useful tips and recommendations from Svetlana Khatskevich. Svetlana is a clothing process engineer, senior teacher of sewing at the Burda Academy.Of course, the higher the percentage of natural fiber in the fabric, the better for the child.
But not always 100% wool is good for sewing school uniforms. It absorbs moisture and smell, keeping it for a long time, quickly wrinkles and loses shape.
In addition, clean wool is quickly wiped on the elbows. Therefore, a small amount of synthetics in the fabric will not harm, and will even improve the quality of the fabric in the sock - it will be more wear-resistant, low crease, it is better to keep the folds of the folds and arrows at the trousers. The main thing is that the composition of the fabric of synthetic fibers should be no more than 40%.
Moreover, if you sew a skirt in a crease, then you need to remember that it is the synthetic fiber in the fabric that will hold these creases. Therefore, it is better to choose other styles from pure-wool fabrics. And do not forget about natural linings made of cotton, viscose or a mixture of these fibers. Then your child will be comfortable in this form.
In order for the form to retain its original appearance for a longer time, before washing, the thing needs to be buttoned on all the buttons and turned inside out. You can wash it in the machine, it is good to add a rinse without fragrances when rinsing. It will give the fabric softness and antistatic. After spinning the thing, turn it on the front side, shake and dry on the shoulders. Trousers are best dried by folding them in the direction of the arrows - so they are easier to iron and last longer.
