Rainy weather is a real test for the little fidget. But paper palms are the ideal material to keep a child busy.
Outlining pens on paper is a great pastime. And how much benefit such an activity can bring! It develops not only fine motor skills, but also thinking and imagination. Paper palms are like a designer, from which many different crafts can be made: a hedgehog in a clearing, and a tree with foliage, and swans, and the sun, and octopuses, and Christmas trees, and snowflakes - it all depends on the flight of fantasy. We chose a butterfly, it is easy to make, but it looks very impressive. An application from the palms can be glued onto colored cardboard, but much more interesting is to decorate the window with it. In this case, instead of the usual glue, you will need special stationery sticky squares that do not leave marks on the glass - no unpleasant surprises for grandmother or mother.
The master class conducts Vera Ryzhkova, primary school teacher, child psychologist, graduate student of Moscow State Pedagogical University
You will need:
● colored paper; ● color cardboard; ● glue stick; ● black marker or felt-tip pen; ● material for decoration (ribbons, plasticine, beads, etc.).
1. Place the hand of the little creator on a sheet of colored paper and circle it. If the child is already big enough, he will do it himself.Just need to tell in which part of the sheet to place the palm to fit two or three prints.
2. Carefully cut out the palms along the contour. This work seems difficult for young children, so you need to show how to hold the scissors correctly and explain that you need to rotate the paper, not the scissors.
3. Create the body of the butterfly. Draw a contour on the back of the colored cardboard and cut it out. Then we glue the parts. To make the work beautiful and neat, it is worthwhile first to arrange all the details so that they will be glued, and only after that pick up the glue. You need to stick the wings from below under the body of the butterfly.
4. We come up with a decoration for our creation. Imagine: let the butterfly turn into a butterfly-mom or butterfly-dad, or mischievous butterfly-girlfriends may turn out. To do this, we use again colored paper or cardboard, plasticine, ribbons with beads. We place the details on our butterfly, and the beauty is ready!
